Eufaula, OK. – 119 teams competed in the final event of the 2012 season on sprawling, windswept Lake Eufaula. Cloudy, windy, cold and sometimes rainy conditions greeted the anglers on Day 1 making things feel more like March than early October. However, the weather did not hamper the fishing as many teams brought in 5 fish limits with Jake Wedel and Jason Little taking the Day 1 lead with over 18 lbs. and it taking over 16 lbs just to be in the top 10. Trailering rules for Championship
Championship this weekend!
The 2012 Skeeter XFL Championship will be held this weekend on lake Eufaula. It looks like it’s going to be typical fall weather, so bring your warm clothing and join in on the great fishing. We will be set up at the Eufaula Cove pavilion on Friday beginning at 9 am until the 6 pm cut off.
Representatives from BoatUS Angler will also be on site, so be sure to sign up early, and be eligible for the Weigh To Win bonus money offered at this event. We are the first and only non-national circuit to be eligible for this bonus money, so take advantage of the great program that BoatUS Angler has to offer.
This will be our final Skeeter Demo event of the year, so please come out and ride in a 2012 Skeeter and talk to the sponsoring dealers. Brad’s Boat Sales will also have their service trailer on site all three days for any service work that you may need to have done. Be sure to call Brad or Daniel and get the phone number of the trailer just in case you need their help this weekend.
We will announce the flights and take off times about 6 pm on Friday night. Check our web site and the Bass Zone for any up to date information that you may need for this event.
BoatU.S. Angler Weigh-To-Win Teams up with Skeeter XFL for Championship!
Announcing a special Weigh-to-Win payout at the Skeeter XFL Championship: $150 for highest placing Weigh-to-Win participant, $100 for second highest; and $75 for third-highest placing participant. BoatU.S. Angler representatives will be on site at Lake Eufaula on Friday October 5th during registration and demo rides. If you are not already a BoatU.S. Angler member, you may sign up at that time to be eligible for this bonus money!

Jamie and Shirley Moore Win the Skeeter Owner’s Tournament
Lake Fork, TX. – Skeeter Boats hosted it’s annual Owner’s Tournament on Lake Fork, TX on June 9-10, 2012. This annual 2 day event draws Skeeter Boat owners from all over the country to compete in an hourly, big bass format for tremendous cash and prizes. The husband and wife team of Jamie and Shirley Moore, of Talala, OK. bested an enormous field of competitors with a Lake Fork largemouth tipping the scales at 10.54lbs. They took home a fully rigged Skeeter ZX 200, Yamaha 200 SHO, Minn-Kota Fortrex trolling motor, 2 Hummingbird 788 graphs, tandem axle powder coated trailer with custom wheels and fenders valued at $48,000.
