Championship Update- Trailering Event

Both days of the Championship will be a trailering event due to forecasted high winds.

XFL HIGH WIND TRAILERING PROCEDURES:

TRAILERING TO AND BACK (ONE IN, ONE OUT): You can only launch once…you cannot move by land once launched, except to return straight to weigh-in.

Flight Assignments (No Boat may not leave their ramp area of choice any earlier than 15 minutes prior to their start time).

Day 2 – Same boat number reverse flights

Take-off Number: 91+ Start Fishing: 7:30 am Afternoon check-in: 3:30 pm

Take-off Number: 61-90 Start Fishing: 7:40 am Afternoon check-in: 3:40 pm

Take-off Number: 31-60 Start Fishing: 7:50 am Afternoon check-in: 3:50 pm

Take-off Number: 1-30 Start Fishing: 8:00 am Afternoon check-in: 4:00 pm

NO TEAM has any rights to any water prior to designated start time. If two
boats from the same start-time arrive at the same spot, neither has priority. You will simply have to share the fishing spot.

SATURDAY and SUNDAY MORNING: You do not need to come to Peter’s Point. You may drive straight to your boat ramp.

AFTERNOON BOATS RETURNING BY WATER: Will be checked in at the boat dock at Peter’s Point. Boats will be considered checked in once reaching the staff member at the dock. Give yourself plenty of time to idle thru the no wake zone to the dock. Let the staff member know your TEAM number.

BOATS OPTING TO TRAILER: (One Time Only), When returning to the Peter’s point entrance, XFL staff personnel will direct you to the first road to the right. They will ask for your TEAM number (not take off number) so know it! It is most important that we clear the roadway. As you approach the weigh trailer, please have the non-driver get in the boat (driver stay in the truck!) and be ready to bag your fish and go to the holding tanks. Once you have bagged your fish, you will be asked to leave the weigh in area with your vehicle. If parking spaces exist, you may park and then weigh your fish. You may be asked to remain, for polygraph, pictures, etc. All boats/trucks must leave the weigh in area to make room for the next incoming flight.

POLYGRAPH: You will be asked the following questions (plus others)- 1) Did you leave the ramp earlier than 15 minutes prior to your designated take off time? 2) Was your live well empty at launch? 3) Did you start fishing prior to your designated fishing time?

Take off flights will be reversed on day two. Example: If you were in flight one on day one, you will be in flight 4 on day two… Flight 2- Flight 3, Flight 3- Flight 2, Flight 4- Flight 1.
