XFL Southern Division – Event 2

Muskogee, OK – The XFL-Extreme Fishing League hosted its second event of the Southern Division on the Arkansas River at 3 Forks landing on April 2, 2017.  Heavy rains in the northern portion of the Arkansas and Verdigris River watersheds led to large volume discharges from the lakes upstream resulting in muddy water and heavy current in the main river channel.  With the heavy current and the bass being primarily in a pre-spawn to spawning mode, main river channel fishing was pretty much out of the question.  Continue reading XFL Southern Division – Event 2

Eufaula – Trailering Event

Due to the wind forecasts for Sunday afternoon, we have decided to make this a trailering event. There will be NO live well check. You may unload your boat 1 time at the ramp of your choice. For those anglers choosing to leave from Eufaula Cove by water, your afternoon check-in will be at the courtesy dock by Peter’s Point pavilion. Give yourself enough time to idle through the no wake and arrive a at the dock by your designated check-in time. For those anglers choosing to trailer to another ramp, your afternoon check-in will be at the entrance to the Peter’s Point park. Both checkin points are marked on the map that is linked below. Click Here to read the procedures for this event.

A few reminders

1) If you pay or have paid via Paypal, please take the time to print out an entry form, fill it out, and hand it to one of the staff as you go thru boat check on Sunday morning.

Welcome to 2017!

We welcome all the regulars and new comers to XFL for 2017! We started out this year in a confusing manner, but hope that you now understand why it took us a while to get everything released. We look forward to a great year, and hope that each of you make an effort to try out some of the new lakes that we are visiting in 2017. We especially look forward to seeing each of you at the North opener on Beaver Lake in Rogers, AR. It’s been quite a few years since we visited NW Arkansas, and are looking forward to seeing both new and old faces at this stop on the tour.
