Welcome to 2017!

We welcome all the regulars and new comers to XFL for 2017! We started out this year in a confusing manner, but hope that you now understand why it took us a while to get everything released. We look forward to a great year, and hope that each of you make an effort to try out some of the new lakes that we are visiting in 2017. We especially look forward to seeing each of you at the North opener on Beaver Lake in Rogers, AR. It’s been quite a few years since we visited NW Arkansas, and are looking forward to seeing both new and old faces at this stop on the tour.

Rule #2

Participation/Eligibility: All XFL Tournaments are open only to members of XFL Tournaments. Membership fee is $100 per person. One membership allows you to fish both divisions. All entrants must sign a one-time waiver. Any person entering a XFL Tournament under the age of 18 must also have the signature of their parent or legal guardian in the provided space on the waiver form. Substitutions will not be allowed in XFL Championship events. Teams must fish or pay entry into three of the six events (or a mixture from each division to equal three) to be eligible for the championship. Each team is permitted usage of a maximum of four (4) members, only two of those four may fish the Championship as a team. A team may be represented in each daily event by one or two team members. All contestants are required to have a valid fishing license.

$5,000 SKEETER DEALER APPRECIATION AWARDS!

Highest finisher in a Skeeter boat- $3000
This award is paid to the highest placing qualified Skeeter Boat at each event. A qualified Skeeter Boat is one that is a model year 2014 or newer and registered online prior to the tournament.

2nd Highest Finisher in a Skeeter boat- $1500
This award is paid to the highest placing qualified Skeeter Boat at each event. A qualified Skeeter Boat is one that is a model year 2012 or newer and registered online prior to the tournament.

3rd Highest finisher in a Skeeter Boat- $500
This award is paid to the highest placing qualified Skeeter Boat at each event. A qualified Skeeter Boat is one that is any year model and registered online prior to the tournament.

Contestants must fish the tournament out of the qualifying boat and must be verified with our tournament staff of such before the award is paid. Verification includes proof of ownership of the boat. This Bonus is paid in lieu of the Skeeter Real Money. Recipients of these awards are not eligible for the Skeeter Real Money program.

All new for 2017…Introducing two divisions!

Fish North, South, some of each, or both divisions and have the chance to win more money! You only have to fish 3 of the 6 events to qualify for the 2017 XFL Championship. Be the points leader team in your division, and have your entry fees paid for the 2018 season. That’s a $900 value bonus for being the top team in each division!

2017 Season Update

Many have been asking about our 2017 schedule. We have decided to do a total re-boot of the XFL for 2017, and are going to announce some new exciting things here shortly. Those of you who have been around awhile will remember that all of the Oklahoma trails used to announce their schedules at the boat show…well, it won’t take us that long, but we still have a few things to work out before we can announce what the schedule is. I can answer the two most asked questions now…YES we will be back, and two…YES we are NOT cutting the number of events! Thanks for your patience, and have a very Merry Christmas!

XFL-Extreme Fishing League 2016 Championship

Eufaula, OK. – The XFL-Extreme Fishing League presented by Skeeter Boats hosted it’s 2016 Championship on Lake Eufaula on October 8th and 9th.  139 teams participated in the year-end event and were greeted with very tough, post frontal conditions.  A major fall cold front moved through the area on Friday with cloudy, windy and rainy conditions that eventually gave way to high pressure, bright and sunny weather for the two competition days.  Fishing on Eufaula prior to this event had been tough.  There were several tournaments the week prior to this event and it was taking less than 30 lbs over two days to win those events.  Most anglers I spoke with prior to the XFL Championship reported that small limits in the 10-12lb range were fairly easy to come by.  However, the bigger fish were being very uncooperative.

XFL Championship $30,000 First Place!

The 2016 XFL Championship will be held on Lake Eufaula the weekend of October 8-9th. We will be set up at Peter’s Point on Friday from noon until 6 PM taking entries. All entries dropped off at Blackbeard Marine must be in the box no later than 5 PM on Thursday. Right now, we are looking at a 7:30 AM take off time on Saturday and Sunday.
