We will be set up at Taylor’s Ferry North on Saturday from Noon until 6 PM taking entries for Sundays event. It will be very important that each of you take great care of your fish during this event! We will have the scales open at 11 AM on Sunday just in case anyone wants to weigh their fish in early. Once you weigh, you will not be able to continue fishing.
Texoma Explanation
To clarify yesterdays post:
1) If you fished two events in the South division, you are qualified for the championship.
2) If you paid for Texoma, you do not lose your money. Simply email us for a refund, or ask us to roll it to Gibson or the Championship.
3) If you only fished one event prior to Texoma, you will need to “buy” Texoma, or fish Gibson to qualify.
Hopefully this clarifies better what the original post said. Feel free to email us with any questions.
Texoma Canceled tournament update:
Due to calendar and permit restrictions, we will not make up the canceled event on Texoma. Those teams who were entered at the time of the cancelation will receive a bye for the canceled event. While we would love for all of you in the South Division to fish the Gibson event, you don’t have to.
You will have the following choices:
1) Take the bye
2) Move your entry to Ft. Gibson on July 9th and fish.
3) Ask for a refund and not receive the bye.
4) Move your entry fee to the championship (if you already fished 3 events) and have a $100 balance.
Those of you who have fished more than 3, you have multiple choices as what to do.
Those of you who pre-paid for the entire year in both divisions can, and will receive a refund for the Texoma event. Email us a request for a refund.
Those of you who entered Texoma as your first event (new teams), can ask for a refund, or roll it to Gibson.
All requests to move or refund entries, must be sent in an email (no text, no calls) to: info@fishxfl.com no later than Monday July 2nd.
Thank you for understanding, and feel free to email us with any questions.
Texoma Event Cancelled
At the request of local and state authorities, we are cancelling the Texoma event due to a accident on Roosevelt bridge, and a chemical spill into Lake Texoma at Catfish Bay. To give local and state authorities the room they need to clean up the spill, recover the semi tractor, and re-open the bridge, we will stay clear of the lake and let them do their jobs. More information to come on our web site.
Texoma Event June 24th

We will be onsite at Catfish Bay on Saturday from Noon until 6 PM taking entries. We will be set up by the pavilion just below the State Park office. Take off will be at approx. 6 AM Sunday morning.
Southern Division – Event #2 Arkansas River
Muskogee, OK – The XFL Extreme Fishing League held its 2nd event of the Southern Division (and 4th overall) on the Arkansas River out of 3 Forks Landing in Muskogee, OK. After an “arctic like April”, the anglers were finally given a great weather day of fishing. Temps started out in the low 60s, warmed to the mid 80s and light winds. What a welcome change it was from having to fish in frigid temperatures, gale force winds and heavy layers of clothing more akin to duck hunting than bass fishing. Despite the great weather, fishing, to be brutally honest, sucked!! Continue reading Southern Division – Event #2 Arkansas River
Three Forks Harbor
Our second event in the South division will be this Sunday May 6th out of Three Forks Harbor in Muskogee. We will be on site Saturday from noon until 6 PM taking entries. All of the pools will be in play for this event…the only off limits will be the Harbor itself (see map on web site). Boat check again, will be done as you idle by at take off. Please have your live wells open and your light in and on as you come by.
Grand Lake April 22, 2018
Grove, OK – The XFL Extreme Fishing League entered the half-way point of the season with it’s 3rd tournament held on Grand Lake O’ the Cherokees. After what seemed like a never-ending cycle of gale force winds and cold temperatures that had plagued our region since the first part of March, the anglers were FINALLY given a half-way decent weekend to fish. Rain moved into the area on Saturday night but let up enough at take-off on Sunday morning to allow the 133 teams to get to their starting spots in relative comfort. Light rain off and on all day made things a bit damp, but the temps were in the low 60s and the wind didn’t blow 40 mph making for a comfortable day of fishing.

Grand Lake
We will be set up to take entries at the ramp beginning at Noon on Saturday. Due to the rain, we will be using the meeting room in the pavilion just next to the restrooms. Look for the weigh trailer that will be parked in front of the overhead door at the pavilion.
Take off on Sunday will be a single file drive by take off starting at approximately 6:35 AM. We will not be doing live well checks as you launch. We will check your live wells as you idle by us at take-off.
Simply idle by us as we call your number, with your live well lids open, and your running lights on. Then idle out to the no wake buoy and take off. Boat check in the afternoon will be at the no wake buoy.
Grand Lake April 22nd
