Northern Division Opener March 11th

The opener for the Northern division is quickly approaching! We will be launching out of Three Forks Harbor for this event. As always, if you are planning on locking through (either direction), be sure to call the lock master and find out their locking schedule so that you have no conflicts. Reminder: follow the rules of the lock master, and the process will go a lot smoother.

2018 Entry Form

The 2018 entry form is now listed under the tournament tab on the front page of the web site. This is a editable PDF form that you can fill out prior to printing. Using this feature will help us record your information correctly, as we have a hard time reading some of your writing! If you do not remember your TEAM number, be sure to look it up instead of leaving it blank. If you are fishing with someone different this year and you were the TEAM captain last year, simply use your TEAM number from last year. If both of you are fishing with someone different, the partner from last year will require a new TEAM number (which we will assign). Team ID Lookup

Championship date update

As we said last week, we forgot to take in to account a Costa date when we chose our date. We have decided to change our date to;

September 29-30th
Eufaula

The web site will be updated to show all of the 2018 dates and lakes.

Championship conflict

When we were selecting dates, we forgot about the FLW Costa Southwestern events. It looks like the Costa Gibson event is the same as the date we chose for our championship. We are looking into it now, and may need to make a date change.

XFL Championship

The XFL Championship will be held this weekend on the Arkansas River out of Three Forks Harbor. Take off each day will be approximately 7:15 AM. We will be at the Harbor on Friday from noon until 6 PM taking entries. As always, you can enter online or drop your entries off at Blackbeard Marine in Tulsa.

This is a NO trailering event. All boats will leave and return to the harbor via boat each day. If you plan on locking through each day, I would suggest that you contact the lock master this week at each lock, and verify locking times and schedules.

There will not be staff on the ramps checking live wells. We will do a drive through take off, at which time your live wells will be checked. As your number is called, simply idle by the take off dock with your life jackets on and kill switches attached with your lights on and aerators running.

Jack (Barney) Barnes

It is with great sadness that we inform you of the death of our good friend and longest serving staff member of the Skeeter trail. Jack (Barney) Barnes passed away this morning after a long fight with cancer. Join us in praying for his family during this tough time in their lives.

Jack will be missed by all of us at XFL. His humor kept us all going on tough days…godspeed my friend.
